Created by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini, the ‘Fazzoletto Opalino’ vase cemented its place in history soon after it was created. Handmade by the Italian brand’s revered master glassmiths, this vase is characterised by a series of soft folds, giving it the appearance of a billowing handkerchief — ‘fazzoletto’ in Italian — that belies the vase’s solid composition.
